Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a collection of procedures involving penetration of the skin with needles to stimulate certain points on the body. In traditional Chinese medicine, disease is generally perceived as a disharmony (or imbalance) in the functions or interactions of body and channels known as meridians, consequently, to treat disease, stimulating specific acupuncture points corrects imbalances in the flow of "Qi" (æ°£) through meridians.
